1. Introduction

These Terms of Use and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in coaching programs and digital courses offered by The Career Diet Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including The Star Candidate, Network Like a Pro, and Master the Interview (collectively, the “Programs”).

By clicking “Buy Now,” “Complete Order,” or any similar phrase on a checkout page, entering your payment information, or otherwise submitting payment, you (“Client,” “Customer,” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms, forming a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.

The Company may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site or Programs after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Company Overview

The Career Diet Inc. is incorporated in Ontario, Canada, and provides coaching programs, online courses, and educational materials designed to help professionals advance their careers and job search outcomes.

3. Program Access

Access to each Program begins immediately upon purchase.

  • The Star Candidate: includes access to coaching, digital materials, AI tools, and community features for the term specified at enrollment (typically three or six months, depending on the option selected at checkout).

  • Network Like a Pro and Master the Interview: include access to digital course materials for six months.

All materials are delivered digitally; no physical products are shipped.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided by the Company—including text, graphics, videos, workbooks, course materials, templates, processes, and coaching frameworks—are protected under Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws.

The Company grants Clients a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Program materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Clients may not reproduce, distribute, share, modify, or use any materials for commercial or coaching purposes without written permission.

Any Client found to be using the Company’s materials for professional or competitive gain (for example, as a coach or consultant) will have access revoked immediately without refund and may be subject to legal action.

5. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

The Company maintains proprietary methods, frameworks, and strategies as confidential information (“Confidential Information”). By enrolling, you agree not to disclose, share, reproduce, or distribute any Confidential Information to third parties without written consent.

Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to:

  • Course materials, training frameworks, and program systems;

  • Proprietary methodologies or trade secrets;

  • Non-public information shared within coaching calls or communities.

6. Disclaimers

Programs are provided for educational and informational purposes only. The Company does not guarantee any specific results, including job offers, promotions, or income increases. Success depends on individual effort, implementation, and external market conditions.

By participating in any Program, you agree that you are solely responsible for your own decisions and outcomes. The Company and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from your use of the Programs.

7. Testimonials and Marketing Use

From time to time, the Company may use general statements about Client success for marketing or testimonial purposes.
By participating in a Program, you grant permission for the Company to share anonymized feedback or testimonials (e.g., first name only, blurred screenshots) across marketing channels, unless otherwise requested in writing.

8. Payment Terms and Plans

When you enroll, you agree to pay the full purchase price of the Program, whether paid in full or on an approved installment plan. If you select a payment plan, you remain responsible for completing all payments.

You authorize the Company to charge the payment method provided at checkout for all amounts due under the selected plan. No further authorization is required for subsequent charges.

If a payment fails, access to all Programs may be suspended until the issue is resolved. After three failed payments, your account may be referred to a third-party collection agency, and access permanently revoked.

By completing your purchase, you agree to The Career Diet Inc.’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. All sales are final. This is a fixed-term digital program, and payment plans cannot be cancelled once access is granted.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

All sales are final for all Programs and courses offered by The Career Diet Inc., including The Star Candidate, Network Like a Pro, Master the Interview, and LinkedIn Authority Builder.

Due to the digital and educational nature of our content, the Company does not offer refunds, cancellations, or deferrals once payment has been submitted. It is the Client’s responsibility to review all Program details and Terms prior to purchase.

10. Non-Disparagement

You agree not to make any false, misleading, or disparaging statements, whether oral or written, that may harm the reputation, business, or services of The Career Diet Inc. during or after participation in any Program.

11. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation in any Program.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your actions, participation, or misuse of Program materials.

12. Being Blacklisted

The Company reserves the right to revoke access and permanently blacklist Clients who fail to make required payments, violate these Terms, or misuse intellectual property.
If the issue is payment-related, access may be reinstated once all outstanding amounts are paid in full.

13. SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS (text) messages from The Career Diet Inc. related to event reminders, updates, and limited promotional content.

  • We will not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

  • Message frequency may vary based on engagement or Program activity.

  • Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan.

  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message.

  • For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at support@thecareerdiet.com.

  • The Company is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier or technical issues.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any linked policies (including the Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and The Career Diet Inc. and supersede all prior understandings or communications.

16. Modifications and Updates

The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updates become effective immediately upon posting to the Company’s website. Continued participation in any Program constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
